Dear Scholarship Committee,
Thank you for allowing me to attend this year's Basic Marksmanship Encampment on June 14th. It was an honor to receive the scholarship. I would not have been able to attend this year were it not for the funding that I received.
As a first time shooter, it was exciting to learn how to handle firearms in a responsible and safe manner. I earned my marksmanship badge and had lots of fun with the other cadets. My goal is to acheive a Sharpshooter badge by next year.
Again, thank you so very much for the opportunity to attent the BME Event. It truly meant alot to me to be able to go with my fellow cadets.
